Patrolman James Baumgartner James began his service to the city of Nappanee as a volunteer reserve with the police department. He is a 2006 graduate of Fairfield high School and is a criminal justice major at Indiana Tech. He graduated from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in December 2011. |

|
Patrolman Bill Bickel Bill has had two stints of service with the city. After working for NPD from January 1987 to March 1995, he rejoined the department in June 2001. |
|||
|
Patrolman Nik Havert With a bachelor's degree in criminology, Nik serves as the department's crime scene technician. He was hired in January 1996. Outside of law enforcement Nik has spent more than 20 years studying and training in martial arts, and has been a teacher on that subject for more than 12 years. He also is a professional writer and editor. |

Patrolman Steve Rulli Steve currently serves as the resource officer for Wa-Nee Community Schools. He was hired by Nappanee in 2002 and is a training instructor. |

|
Patrolman Tim Stouder Hired in May 1982, Tim was a member of Class 82-71 of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. He has achieved certification in traffic crash investigation, levels one through three. |

|
Patrolman Matt Tice Matt has extensive training credentials, serving as an instructor in firearms, patrol rifle, standard field sobriety testing and response to domestic violence. He was hired by the department in January 1996. |
|||
|
Patrolman Curtis Weldy Curtis joined the department in August 2005 and represents Nappanee as an investigator with the Elkhart County Fatal Alcohol Crash Team. |
